Willow, Beech and Cedar classes all had a fantastic day at Wat Tyler yesterday! We collected minibeasts from the meadow and the pond. The children asks really interesting questions and had remembered a lot from our recent Science work on Animals. A big thank you to all the parent helpers who came along.
After a tiring hot day we all had a dance at the school disco!!!
Next week we have French Day, First Aid training and Design and Technology activities-another very busy week before the end of term!
Enjoy the weekend.
It has been a very exciting week in school! The children have continued to make their planets for the Art Show next week. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Astrodome on Wednesday, the children asked some very interesting questions and today we have loved looking at everyone in their wonderful costumes! Thank you for helping the children look so amazing.
It is an extremely busy week next week......
We have the Art Show after school on Wednesday when you will also be able to meet your child's new teacher. On Thursday we have our trip to Wat Tyler Park and the end of year disco at 3.45pm.
Thank you for your continued support. Have a great weekend.
It has been a very creative week in Willow Class. The children designed their own planet, use marbling ink for the background and painted on top. Next week they will add collage materials to finish it off. You will be able to see the finished planets at the Art Show on Wednesday 10th July.
It is Space Week for the whole school next week. We have the Astrodome visit on Wednesday and our 'Astronauts and Aliens' dressing up day on Friday.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported the children on Sports Day on Tuesday. It was a fantastic morning, with brilliant sunshine. All the children performed amazingly and showed great sportsmanship. We were very proud of Willow Class.
This week we completed a Maths investigation on where we were going on holiday. The children collected data, made charts and graphs and posed questions to each other.
Just a reminder that the Space buffet homework is due in next Friday (28th). All children are expected to complete at least 4 pieces.
Thank you and have a good weekend.
The children have had a very busy week writing their astronaut diaries. They included some interesting details about exploring space and the interesting (and some very srange!!) things they saw. We learned some facts about the Earth and some children quizzed us on our knowledge from their homework!
In Science and PSHE we have beem looking at ourselves growing and changing.
Don't forget on Tuesday morning it is Sports Day for Key Stage 1. The children had a practise run this week and are really looking forward to it.
Let's keep everything crossed for good weather!
