In Chestnut Class, like the rest of the School, we have been busy doing our Spelling Bee throughout the week. We were tested on 100 spellings! We await the results...
We continued our Science investigation looking at the growth of microorganisms on white bread under various conditions; the results were somewhat surprising!
In Literacy, we did several sentence-stacking exercises working on a balanced argument on whether or not school uniform should be banned. This is leading towards our Big Write which we will be writing up next week.
We looked at interpreting data in Maths this week, focusing on line graphs and pie charts.
The week ended with us celebrating Sports Relief on Friday 13th, dressing in sports/casual wear for the day and bringing in a contribution to the charity.
