Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors help make our school a safe and happy place where everyone can demonstrate our school values; ERIC — Effort, Respect, Independence, and Communication.

They encourage all pupils to show respect by being kind and caring towards others. They help everyone understand the difference between being a bystander, someone who watches bullying happen, and an upstander, someone who shows courage and chooses to help.

Our Ambassadors support pupils to use their communication skills to speak up when they see something wrong and to ask for help if they need it. They also promote independence by encouraging children to take responsibility for creating a safe and friendly school community.

By putting in the effort to stand up to bullying and support each other, our Ambassadors help everyone feel safe, respected, and valued at school.

Each KS1 and KS2 class has an Anti-Bullying Ambassador chosen by their class teacher. They meet regularly with Ms S Warnes to discuss issues that may arise.
