Miss T Fordham
The banking team have totalled the money raised from the cake sale last half term and would like to announce that the class raised a whopping £101.85 for the charity HARP.
The Cake Sale was a roaring success .... we almost sold out of cakes ! The class would like to thank everyone for their donations and support for the event and will next week be announcing the total to the school.
In circle time next week, the class will write a letter to HARP to tell them all about the sale and charity donation.
Well done Sycamore! Mr Lee, Miss Fordham and I are very proud of you all.
Mrs Hindes :)
Sycamore Class will be having a non-uniform day on Friday 15th February (tomorrow) as a reward for earning 100 class points. Well Done Sycamore Class!
Sycamore Class are busy getting ready for their Charity Cake Sale next week. The class have spent this half term creating documents and posters for the sale in their Computing lessons and next week the children will be baking a range of different cakes to sell at the event. The children will take on the roles of bakers, sellers and bankers at the sale.
Please come along and support the sale between 3.10pm and 3.30pm next Friday 15th February. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page next week as the class will be posting pictures and updates in the run up to the event.
There have been lots of changes in Sycamore Class this week. We have said 'Au Revoir' to Mrs Savage and 'Bonjour' to Miss Fordham. Don't worry, Mrs Savage hasn't left Jotmans Hall. She has just moved to work next door, in Elm Class. Miss Fordham is new to our team at Jotmans Hall and Sycamore Class have enjoyed welcoming her to the school and showing her the ropes.
In Sycmamore Class we have just begun to learn about the Pop Art movement. This week the class found out all about the life and works of Andy Warhol and how he came to be one of the most famous artists of all time. After the children completed their research on Andy Warhol they completed their own mini piece of Pop Art using a favourite possession or like as inspiration.
