The School Day
At 8.45 a.m. children enter the premises via both gates and go straight into class. Gates close at 8.55am. Registration should be completed by approximately 9.05 a.m.
Assemblies are held daily from 10:15a.m. to 10:30a.m, and are planned as follows:
- Monday (Whole School Awards)
- Tuesday (Whole School - Weekly theme)
- Wednesday (Whole School - Weekly Theme)
- Thursday (Assembly KS1) (KS2 – Circle Time)
- Friday (Singing Assembly)
- (This timetable may occasionally be altered to accomodate special events or visitors)
Playtime starts at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 10.45 a.m.
Lunch time starts at 12.00 noon for all children and finishes at 1.05 p.m., except for the Reception classes who have lunch from 11.50 a.m. At 1.00 p.m., the red bats are raised to clear away equipment. The green bats are then raised and the children walk into School in an orderly fashion.
During wet lunch times children remain with activities in their own classroom until collected for lunch by a Mid-Day Assistant. Year 6 monitors assist in the younger classes during wet play times.
Infant playtime starts at 2.15 p.m. and finishes at 2.25 p.m.
School finishes at 3.10 p.m. for Years 1 – 6. Reception pupils can be collected from 3.00pm.
As of April 17th School will finish at 3:15p.m., with pick up for reception pupils from 3.05p.m.
